2014 National Wildwater Events Announced

The national level events for 2014 have been selected. Check here for updates about lodging, boat availability, and registration soon! The 2014 Wildwater Western Junior and Senior Team Trials will be on the Animas River in Durango, Colorado on April 26th and 27th. The event will be organized by the Great Blue Heron Whitewater Club and Durango Whitewater, and will be one of the first races on a newly redesigned whitewater park in Durango. This promises to be a great event. The 2014 Wildwater National Championships will be held on the Cheat River on May 2-4th. The event will be organized by Chris Norbury and the Cordorus Wildwater Club, and will be held in association with the Cheat River Festival, one of the best attended downriver races in the country. The 2015 Wildwater Western Senior Team Trials will be held on the Skykomish River in Washington State in October, 2014. The specific date has yet to be determined. The event will be put on by Marin Millar and the League of Northwest Whitewater Racers, and is held on a world-class wildwater race course. We currently have no bids for 2015 Easter Senior Team Trials for 2015. |
