April 17, 2011 -- Glenwood Springs, CO Our 2011 Western Region Jr. National Wildwater Team Qualifiers were: K-1M Cully Brown of Durango, Co.  (Classic Race Qualifier) Spencer Huff of Lyons, Co.  (Sprint Race Qualifier) JP Griffith of Denver, Co.  (Alternate) K-1 W Sarah Neimeyer of LaFayette,Co.  (Classic Race Qualifier) Naomi Everhart of Boulder, Co.  (Sprint Race Qualifier) Kelsey Freeman of Carbondale, Co.  (Forth K-1w using open eastern spot) C-1 M Even Cornish of Boulder, Westminster, Co. C-2 M Devon Dapuzzo, David McConnell  (Classic Race Qualifier) Nick Rinyard, Zach Gallup  (Sprint Race Qualifier) Will Coggan, Gabriel Machado  (Forth C-2 M using open spot from eastern region) The K-1M and C-2 M Sprint classes race were notable for having the second and third places being determined by combined run times that were mere seconds apart.
