March 28, 2010 -- Durango, CO Here you will find a schedule for the Durango Whitewater race. I will be sending registration information and forms shortly. We anticipate that registration fees will be 25$ for slalom and 15$ for Wildwater. This will include T-Shirt and Pizza Dinner... Cathy, and I, as well as John (If his schedule permits) will be available for coaching at no additional coast to the race, but for those interested, we will need names and boat types ASAP. Athletes who register after the deadline will be charged an additional 5$ for Wildwater and 5$ for Slalom Thursday April 15th - Open Training @ Smelter and or 32nd St. (Coached sessions available upon prior request) Friday April 16th - Open Training @ Smelter and or 32nd St. (Coached sessions available upon prior request) 12:00pm (Wildwater Late Registration Santa Rita Park) Saturday April 17th - 10:00am (Mass Start Wildwater Race) (32nd St to end of Santa Rita Whitewater Park) 12:00pm-4:00pm (Open Slalom Training @ Smelter)(Coached sessions available upon prior request) 4:00pm (Slalom Course Construction)(Slalom Late Registration Santa Rita Park) 7:00pm (Pizza Dinner and movie @ Nic Borst's House) Sunday April 18th - 7:30am (Athlete meeting and bib handout) 8:00am (Slalom Course open for pre runs) 9:00am (Start Slalom Race Run 1) 10:30-11:00am (Break Between Runs) 11:00am-12:30pm (Start Slalom Race Run 2) 1:00pm (Awards @Santa Rita Park) * Athletes will be limited to two boat classes for the slalom race.
