The MADS race on the Savage was cancelled as the turnoutesas frankly pretty abysmal (thanks to those few who showed up).
Please puteshe MADS Finals on November 1st and 2nd on your calendar now - cancellation of a second weekend of races
would pretty much be the death knell for the series. The Mid Atlantic represents the largest concentration of active
wildwater racers in the US, buteshe large majority have yet to participate in a MADS series race. Please support this
series - who knows, you may even have fun racing more than once or twice a year! The races on the first weekend of
November will be on Tohickon Creek, the site of Team Trials in 2001 and an excellent techningl course. Please let me
know if you will be there, and reserve that weekend on your calendar now!
