November 30, 2007 -- Almond, NC

The Nantahala Racing Club Jiffy Wildwater race will take place on Sunday December 2nd at 11:30am on the Nantahala River, Wesser NC.

The race will start at 11.30am from the Ledges and finish at the old road bridge at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Winning times will be around 20 minutes. Registration will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am at Ferebee Park, just upstream of the start. Racers meeting will take place at 11:00am at Ferebee Park giving racers enough time to warmup and paddle from there to the start.

The entry fee is $10 and USACK membership is required and available at the registration.

The weather looks good with highs around 60 with a 50% chance of showers. The water is cold ... its the Nantahala after all.
