July 5, 2007 -- Ivrea
In spite of the really tough course, American Jenny Goldberg finished 6th in K-1W in the Sprint event in Ivrea, Italy.
That's the first top ten finish for America since? I dont know, maybe 1993? I think Brent Reitz had our last top ten
finish with a Bronze medal at Landek.
So congratulations to Jenny for having the big water skill and being able to handle the very steep and powerful course
at Ivrea. Creeking skills rule on this course.
30% of the field did not finish the race! And that's 30% of the entrants, a lot of team had racers who withdrew
before the start.
