The US Wildwater Team Trials is now just a week away. I know that some of you are already at Ohiopyle, or soon to be on your way.
It looks like the river will be at a good race level.
Here is the final schedule for the next week’s Trials. I’ll do what I can to keep it as is (but, no promises).
Friday, 4/13
3:00PM.
Deadline for race registration. Friends, please remember this. We will be setting the race order, as well as distributing bibs,
on Friday. There is no day-of-race registration. The Reg Form and waiver can be found at
www.usawildwater.com/news/2007/US_Team_Trials.pdf.
I will also have these forms available at Race Headquarters. If you have not already sent your paperwork to me, probably best to
hand-deliver to me at Ohiopyle.
3:00PM – 5:00PM.
Boat and equipment inspection. Will take place at the Wilderness Voyageurs site in Ohiopyle (Race Headquarters).
6:00PM – 6:30PM.
Racers meeting. All entrants should attend. At Wilderness Voyageurs.
7:00PM – 8:30PM.
US Trials dinner. Open to entrants, family, and friends. At Wilderness Voyageurs.
Saturday, 4/14
9:00AM.
Beginning of Sprint I (loop put-in).
11:00AM
Beginning of Sprint II (loop put-in).
Sunday, 4/15
9:30AM.
Beginning of Classic (above Dimples Rapid).
12:45PM.
Awards Assembly. At Wilderness Voyageurs.
I’ve been working with a great bunch of volunteers to put together a great 2007 Team Trials. It’ll be great to see all of you at the Yough.
