March 24, 2007 -- Atlanta, GA
Perhaps the most significant struggle we face in growing Wildwater in North America (USA, CAN and MEX)
is due to the lack of boats. The international paddling community and the federatations can really help
stimulate and grow the sport on the North American continent simply by arraging to sell the boats that
will be used at the 2007 Wildwater Junior World Championships. Rather than paying to have the boats
transported back to Europe, or Australia, or wherever, we would ask that you consider selling the boats
for a good price in Charlotte after the Junior Words. This can be a tremendous help for Wildwater and
eliminate the transportation costs.
If you want to sell you boats at the conclusion of the Junior Worlds please contact Doug Ritchie at
dritchie@hammerheadkayak.com or John Pinyerd
(Chairman of USA Wildwater) at jpinyerd@usawildwater.com prior to the Jr.
World Championships in July. We will want to know:
- What kind of boat(s)
- Condition
- Price
Please let me know your questions and how I can help you.
