November 22, 2006 -- Charlotte, NC
The first ever wildwater sprint race will take place at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC on Sunday
December 3rd. The race will take place on the "Wilderness Channel" and winning times will be approximately 100
seconds per run. Racers will complete two race runs for a cumulative race time. If it floats you can race it! The
"Wilderness Channel" is fun class III whitewater with the feel of a true artificial whitewater course. This event is
significant as it will be a test event for the planning committee involved with the 2007 Junior Wildwater World
Championships.
