The preliminary 2006 budget for USAWildwater calls for our best athlete funding in a decade. The
preliminary budget calls for allocation $5,000 in funding for housing and meals. The board is also
evaluating methods for providing additional funding for athletes that perform well at the World
Championships and the World Cups.
While it is our goal to fully fund the travel expenses for all athletes who qualify for the team,
this can only be accomplished through additional sponsorship. For those folks that will not be
able to race for the USA, anything that you can do to help fund our athlete sponsor ship will deeply
be appreciated.
