This weekend high winds, frigid temperatures, and fast times marked the Little Falls Wildwater Club’s
pre-Team Trials warm-up race. Saturday’s well attended sprint race down Little Falls rapid was
blisteringly cold and saw the return to east coast action of Geoff Calhoun. The most notable
returnee was Chris Norbury who crawled out of his hard-working cave in Amish country to assist in
timing, coaching, and heckling. Sunday’s Classic race down the extended Little Falls run was purely
wildwater boaters and involved an excellent 10 minutes of whitewater followed by 5 minutes of
flatwater shipped in from Kansas. The LFWC would like to thank all those who participated, helped,
and traveled from Pittsburgh, Hershey, and the Eastern Shore.
