The ICF announced today the replacement Vittorio Cirini as Chairman of the ICF Wildwater Committee.
The USA Wildwater Committee welcomes Jens Perlwitz to the ICF Wildwater Committee and look forward to
working with him.
From the February ICF newsletter ... "With regard to Vittorio Cirini’s resignation as Chairman of
the Wildwater Committee, the following procedure is determined in Article 28 of the ICF Statutes:
1. In the case of decease, resignation or suspension (by the Board after consultation with the
Federation concerned, see Article 42) of a Member of the Board of Directors, a substitute can be
nominated by the ICF Board or the appropriate Continental Association until the next ordinary or
extraordinary Congress...
4. The Executive Committee shall appoint a Member of the respective Standing Committee to act
as Chairman.
The ICF Executive Committee declared themselves in favour of appointing Jens Perlwitz for the
position of the acting chairman.
