Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

The U.S. Wildwater Committee is soliciting bids for the 2013 Eastern and Western U.S. Wildwater Team Trials, U.S. Wildwater National Championships and the 2013/2014 U.S. Senior Wildwater Team Trials. See the first article for more information about the bid process.

We are also in the closing stages of providing an online service that will allow anyone to make a tax-deductible donation to support the U.S. Wildwater program and its athletes. (A special e-zine will be distributed as soon as the service is available.)

Congratulations to David Jones for being the recipient of the ACA Legend of Paddling Award. This award is presented to one or more individuals each year for their legendary contributions to paddlesport. Recipients of this prestigious award will be inducted into the ACA Paddlesport Hall of Fame at the ACA Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony in conjunction with the upcoming National Paddlesports Conference & SUP Summit.

Next is the results of the 2012/1013 Wildwater Team Trials, the 20th annual Upper Gauley Race and the 44th Southeastern US Whitewater Championships.
