Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends: This e-Zine brings you the latest news about the US Open & Wildwater East Coast Junior Team Trials and the Glenwood Wildwater Jubilee & Western US Junior Wildwater Team Trials. Check out the articles below for more about both of these events. These races will determine who is eligible for the 2011 US Wildwater Junior Team that will compete at the Wildwater Junior World Championships this summer. This does not mean that you can't compete if you are too old to qualify as a junior. Come on out and show the juniors how good you are! In more news, Kurt Smithgall contributed an article about repairing wildwater boats. You can find a link to his article in the drop-down list under "Equipment" on the menu at the top of most of our web pages. Or just click on the link below. Anyone who wishes to help us provide for USA Wildwater Team (and/or coaching, training camps, and development) can make (tax deductible) donations to USA Wildwater through our national governing body USA Canoe/Kayak. Go to our website link at www.usawildwater.com/donate.html to see how easy it is to make a donation online or by check. (Make sure you designate your donation for Wildwater.) Chuck Brabec |
