The 2010 Wildwater World Championships ended on Sunday, June 13th. Because of problems with rain and flooding, several races were postponed until the final day. The wrap-up report shows how the members of the USA Wildwater Team in the various events. Tom Wier posted personal bests in the Individual Classic (16th and 7.77% behind) and Sprint (21st and 7.06% behind). Our Masters athletes also did very well - Michael Harris was 1st in C-1, David Jones was 2nd in K-1 Men and Jennie Goldberg was 1st in K-1 Women.

We also had good performances by the other members of the 2010 USA Wildwater Team - Tyler Hinton (C-1), Jeremy Rodgers (K-1), Mark Wendolowski (K-1), Maurizio Tognacci (K-1), Haley Popp (K-1 Women) and Bryson and Colton Popp (C-2).

Finally, on a lighter note, we have an entertaining report from Chris Norbury about the Tim Gavin Memorial Downriver (and upriver) races which were held as part of the Harpers Ferry (WV) Outdoor Festival.

Now it's time for you to get on with your training so you are ready to compete in the 2010 US Nationals.
