Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

The past few weeks have been a busy time for our Western boaters, with 4 different races - the Durango Whitewater Race on April 17-18, USACK Western US Junior Wildwater Team Trials and Glenwood Wildwater Jubilee on April 24, Golden Downriver Race on April 30-May 1 and the Crystal River Race on May 8. Thanks to the race organizers and athletes for showing that downriver racing is alive and very well in Colorado! You can read more about the races in the links below.

Our Senior Wildwater Team is looking forward to the 2010 Wildwater World Championships in Sort, Spain on June 7-13. I included a link to the first bulletin where you can learn more about the Worlds. Wildwater TV Italia will broadcast from Sort 2010 during the Worlds so you can keep up with the latest news. Although I haven't heard for sure, I suspect that Tim Wier will be updating his blog (tomwier.wordpress.com) too.
