The Wildwater Committee and USACK need your help!!!

Now that it is all said and done, USA Canoe/Kayak is left with a deficit of over $20,000 from hosting the Wildwater Junior World Championships. We need your help to help eliminate this deficit. Please see the first article to learn what you can do.

In other news, nominations are being sought for qualified individuals to serve on the Wildwater Committee. The second article includes all of the necessary information about the nomination and election processes. We are also still accepting bids to host the 2008-2009 Wildwater National events (Team Trials, Jr. Team Trials, and the National Championships). The deadline for bids is November 1.

Finally, this E-Zine brings you the results of the Animal Upper Gauley Race, a great article about the Southeastern USA Whitewater Championships, a training article by Rodney Rice, the minutes of the WWC Board meeting that was held by email on September 14-30 and news from the International Canoe Federation about the 2008 Senior Wildwater World Championships.

Happy reading, and please continue to support Wildwater racing.
