Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

Thanks to Wilderness Voyageurs in Ohiopyle for hosting the Senior Team Trials on April 14-15. Twenty seven athletes competed in colder than normal weather with higher than desired water levels. Check out the article in this E-zine to see who competed and how well they did.

That's two (team trials events) down and one to go. Next up is the Western Junior Team Trials on May 4-6 on the Animas River in Durango, Colorado (see http://www.usawildwater.com/news/2007/070319_junior_tt_west.htm for more about this event).

The USACK Wildwater Committee was extra busy at the Senior Team Trials. The board met on Saturday evening. They spent quite a bit of time discussing the expense budget for this year before voting to approve it. John Pinyerd also recognized three key volunteers (Dough Ritchie, Chuck Brabec and Tom Calhoun) for their outstanding work in support of USA Wildwater.

Finally, we have the U.S. Wildwater Rankings for 2006 and information about the new Wildwater Series being initiated by FIBArk this year.

Read all about it in this issue of the USA Wildwater E-zine!!

And don't forget to check the calendar on wildwater.com for all of the upcoming races. Many of the events listed in the calendar include a link where you can learn more about the event.
