Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

This E-zine is devoted to the U.S. Wildwater Team Trials. These are the events that will determine who will represent the U.S.A. in the World Cup Series that will be held in Europe in June and the Junior Wildwater World Championships to be held in the U.S.A. in mid-July.

The U.S. Team Trials consist of the Eastern Junior Team Trials which are on March 31-April 1 on the Nantahala River in North Carolina, the Senior Team Trials scheduled for April 14-15 on the Lower Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania and the Western Junior Team Trials on May 4-6 on the Animas River in Colorado. The first 3 articles in this E-zine are devoted to these events.

We also have a report on the very successful training camp that was held on the Lower Yough, news about the Junior Wildwater World Championships and the world rankings for last year.

Happy paddling...
