Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

USAWildwater needs your help in securing race sites/organizers for our 2007 Team Trials, Jr. Team Trials, and the National Championships. Please see the first article listed below to learn how you can help.

The second article in this E-zine appeared in the Marietta Daily Journal on July 1. It is about John Pinyerd and David Jones, and the biggest day of their careers when they both won medals in their age groups at the Wildwater World Championships in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic.

Next, we have 2 articles about the World Cup races that were held in Mezzana, Italy and Lofer, Austria where Andrew McEwan, Geoff Calhoun, Eric Orenstein and Tom Wier did an excellent job representing the USA. Andrew McEwan turned out several incredible finishes in the Classic Races, finishing just a few percentage points off of the pace of the winners. Finishing in the top 20 in K-1 is an incredible feat. Tom Wier had an 11th place finish in the C-1 Sprint event in the World Cup 1 and 2 events.

Finally, you can view a statistical analysis about the wildwater boats that were paddled at the World Championships. Here you will learn about the boat designs and the manufactures that were raced.

Happy reading....
