There hasn't been much news since the last E-Zine on April 19th, so there isn't much to report. I did not receive a report on the 2006 Great Skykomish Downriver Race that was held on April 22nd, but I did find the results. Congratulations to K-1 paddler Doug Ritchie (25:03) and C-1 paddlers Tom Wier (26:20) and Andy Bridge (27:44). The race was from Boulder Drop to Big Eddy and the flow was 3700 cfs. Also in the news is the naming of the USA Canoe/Kayak 2006 Wildwater World Championship Team, The World Cup Team, and The Masters International Championships Team. Congratulations to those who are on the team. Our hopes, prayers, and support go with you.
