By now our wildwater racers should be in top form! Many of you have been training hard and competing in the first races of the year. We have already read about the Chute the Hooch camp and race, and the Glacier Breaker. This issue has the results of the first race in the 2006 Northwest Downriver Cup Series - the Cedar River Race. The next 4-6 weeks will bring many more races. Check the calendar on usawildwater.com for a complete list of events.

The USA Wildwater Senior and Eastern Junior Team Trials will be here before you know it. We just received news about a change in venue for the classic portion of the race. We also have the complete schedule for the 2006 Northwest Downriver Cup Series.

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) has also been busy getting ready for the 2006 Senior Wildwater Racing World Championships. They set up a great web site with (almost) everything that you should know about the event. The ICF Wildwater Committee is also providing almost weekly news (see the last link below).
