Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

There are only 3 items in this issue, but they are very important ones.

There still is a little time for race organizers to enter their bid(s) to host the 2006 Wildwater Events. The events include the USA Wildwater Team Trials, Eastern US Wildwater Junior Team Trials, Western US Wildwater Junior Team Trials and the USA Wildwater National Championships. Organizers should choose the wildwater event(s) that they are best suited to host and bid on the selected event(s). Bids are due by September 30, 2005. More information can be found in the first article in this issue.

There are 2 more races on the calendar for this year - the Animal Upper Gauley Race on September 26th and the Tohickon Wildwater Classics (November 5-6). See the calendar at ( for more information about both races.
