Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

This past weekend was a busy one. The US Wildwater Nationals and the Western Junior Team Trials were hosted by FIBArk, one of the world's best and longest running paddling festivals. We are extremely grateful to Ed Loeffel and the Fibark organization for hosting our Nationals and making us part of the FIBArk festivities.

Several members of the Junior Team will be heading to Europe for the Junior World Championships at the end of July. Shaun Smith, Manager/Coach, and Maurizio Tognacci, Coach, have organized a fantastic trip for those who made the US team.

Lest we forget, US Wildwater Team athletes brought home several medals from the 2005 World Cup circuit in England, Ireland and Wales last month.

There still are many races on the schedule for those who will be staying closer to home. Check out the calendar at www.usawildwater.com/races/2005RaceSchedule.pdf for the dates for the races in your area.
