Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

It's time to reflect on our successes this year and to work on improving for the future. Three keys to improvement are following a personal training program, setting goals for yourself and measuring your progress towards your goals.

Participating is competitions is a good way to measure the effectiveness of your training. It also helps you gauge your progress toward your goals.

Check out the "training" and "races" sections of USAWildwater.com to see what's there that might help you with your training program and to view the latest revisions to the event calendar for the remainder of 2004. The "races" section also includes a link to the initial iteration of the calendar for 2005.

If you have a personal training program that you would like to share, please send it to me at usawildwater@earthlink.net.

The future looks bright for Wildwater and we hope you will continue to be a part of it.
