Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends: I hope your fall base training is going well and you have your goals set for amazing performance this spring. While you are doing your long, slow aerobic paddles we hope your mind will wander to your sport's governance and the leaders who hope to take Wildwater in the U.S. to a new level. This month the USACK Wildwater committee is making two important announcements: the final selections for venues of the major 2004 races, and the call for nominations for committee posts. We encourage you to continue your active involvement in our sport. The last two years have been amazing, with volunteerism for Wildwater races continuing impressively and the World Cup coming to California in 2003. The future looks bright for Wildwater and we hope you will continue to be a part of it. The first step is submitting your nominations. The deadline is fast approaching, so please get them in soon!
