Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

With just one week to go before the Wildwater Nationals, USAWildwater.com is providing a final update on water conditions, safety and, of course, our great sponsors. Now is also an appropriate time to offer a HUGE thank-you to Donnie Hudspeth of Mountain Air Productions, who has generated more sponsor interest and funding for this single event than our entire U.S. Wildwater Team budget for 2002. He is an exceptional organizer and you can be sure that this year's race will be one for the record books in many regards. Donnie, thank you for your tireless behind-the-scenes work and thanks to each of our sponsors. Racers and friends, please support our sponsors while in Fayette County and keep building Wildwater in the U.S.!

Donnie has also supplied us with a valuable safety update. Please read it before putting on to do your training runs this week! Please also see our updated race schedule, which includes a pre-race dinner at the Cathedral Cafe in Fayetteville.

See you at the races,

Michael Beavers
Editor, USAWildwater.com
