Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

The rocky Fiume Sesia in Piode, Italy was a second home to Americans as we battled it out for top placements. I hate it that my shoulder injury prevented me from being with the team this year, but the news coming in from German Markus Gickler's Website, gives the rest of us all the news we need!

Last month we heard from ex-chairman, Scott Overdorf, who remains active in building the U.S. Junior ranks with exceptional high school paddling programs. Thanks for the article on Western U.S. Junior Trials, Scott, and keep up the great work.

Race hard!

Michael Beavers
