05/30/21 Update: We are extending the date for granting additional bye requests for unfilled spots on the 2021 Senior Team. We will consider the request up to 45 days in advance of the event. Please send any requests for a bye to: jpinyerd@cs.com and josc1618@gmail.com ASAP.
Due to the cancelation of Senior Wildwater Team Trials, the 2021 Senior USA Wildwater Team will be selected through an updated Bye Request Application. Please fill out the attached 2021 Bye Request Application to be considered for the 2021 World Cups and World Championships Team. Also attached is the updated USA Wildwater Team Selection Procedures which reflect the changes made to the Bye process. Please submit the completed application to John Pinyerd at jpinyerd@cs.com by April 17, 2021 to be considered for the Senior Team. If the World Cups are pushed back or canceled, the deadline may be extended.
At this time, the USA Wildwater Committee is only accepting Bye requests for the Senior Team. We are optimistic that a Junior/U23 Trials will be able to take place, and updates will be forthcoming. Please reach out to John Pinyerd, Joslin Coggan, or other Committee Members with questions.
