2021 USA Wildwater Nationals Registration & Information

Wildwater Nationals is starting to come together! The event will be from June 24-25 in Salida, CO. Registration will be completed through GoogleForm and payment will be done onsite. Cara Spencer (email: carasue04@gmail.com) is the race organizer.  Questions can be directed to her. We hope to see everyone in Colorado again this summer. Nationals are once again being hosted in Salida, Colorado on the Arkansas River! With the support of Team Colorado Whitewater Racing and FIBArk, we are determined to make this a fun, community friendly race.

There will be a Classic race and Sprint race that will be registered for together. The Classic will be held from the river left put in to the bottom of Bear Creek Rapid. The Sprint will be from between the drops in the Salida slalom course to the end of Riverside Park. Starts and finished will be clearly marked. These races will include up to class III rapids.

There will also be a 'Fun Run' race on a notably easier and shorter section of water: the Salida boat ramp to Salida East. All starts, finishes, and schedule modifications are subject to change at the discretion of the Race Organizers and will be made official at the preceding racer meeting or as soon as possible.

Long boats, such as wildwater boats and wave hoppers will be classified as 'WW' boats. Shorter boats, such as creek boats or slalom boats, will be classified as 'Rec' boats. WW and Rec boats are welcome to compete in any race.
