How I started paddling wildwater:

I raced the Lehigh Classic in a Phoenix Match2 in 2018 and Chris Norbury told me I should do Wildwater (I beat him). Fast forward a few months and I am trying out a real Wildwater boat for the first time on the Susquehanna in December with Chris. Ended up swimming, losing my paddle and getting mild hypothermia. Basically, I was hooked. Ordered a boat, borrowed a boat with holes in it from Geoff Calhoun and started paddling with Trevor Wagner and Graeme Biggin. Got serious about it a couple months before the 2020 Team Trials (In October 2019) and came out of nowhere to make the team. Been full steam ahead since then.
