• What you do to get ready for a race: Eat two over easy eggs with one piece of wheat toast, then stretch, walk the course and pick out my line. After that I run for two minutes easy and one minute hard, three times. Then I get in my boat and do two or three, ten to fifteen second sprints. Then I just keep moving until I race.
• What you do after a race: After a race I cool down with a slow run and or paddle, followed by rehydration. I Take a hot shower or hot tub, to warm up. I enjoy long walks on the beach and romantic candle lit dinners, I am also a Gemini ;)
